I am a candidate for Ph.D. at Drew University, Madison, NJ; my dissertation explores the gendered and communal identity construction of Proverbs 31 through the interpretive lens of socio-narratology. I also teach adjunct courses related to Hebrew Bible and in introductory writing and critical thinking. For relaxation I ring bells with my church handbell choir, bike with my husband, and houseclean.
I am a nonfiction children’s book writer and aspiring author. If the parallel universe theory people are correct, I feel confident that in other universes I’m an Episcopal priest, and in still others, I teach high school English. But in this universe, it’s just the writing thing. And mother of three, wife and dog-walker of one (two different ones, of course).
